That “owl guy” is not giving me credit. He posted first this evening about that other owl which hunted in his yard … a Yard Bird Great Gray Owl. I mean … really … I was hunting within 1.5 miles of the Hoeg’s home. Shouldn’t that trump an ordinary Great Gray Owl.

I have thought about that fact. Great Horned Owls normally will not tolerate other owls, and are quite capable of killing any owl that intrudes upon their territory. Given Les and Amy hoot multiple times per night, I don’t expect other owls to stay in the vacinity.
