Yesterday morning I interviewed a local celebrity who made the outrageous claim that Great Gray Owls are boring, and she could personally not understand where all the owl paparazzi had gone to. I tried to calm her down, and said “the grays” were just a passing fad and soon the color of snow would reign once more.

We West Virginians will take a the Grays and Snowys you will send this way. They are anything but boring to us. A few years ago there was a Snowy on the roof of a strip mall and it was never so busy. Lol. It looked so out of place but the people still came from all around to get a glimpse. They wouldn’t know how to act, seeing them in your habitat.
